As a kid (I played Resident Evil far too young) I would have said omgggg RE3 is the best, I love Jill so much and Nemesis is so cool, this is the most awesome game ever, I wanna be like Jill. I have to say that the RE3 Remake didn't give me a similar feeling at all. I wouldn't even play it twice, it just didn't hit like it did back then. Jill is still my queen, tho. But maybe not quite the Jill in newer productions (RE3 remake and this one Alcatraz movie, hmmm...)
